The Brown House in Auburn

Today was Coney Dogs and it was busy, of course, but the coney sauce today was very water down. Also,.a little tangyI have ate at the brown since I was 5 yrs old and I am now 71. Love this place. Also, the amt. of Onion Rings you get are very small portion for the price. About 6 or 7.I am sorry I had to complain, but today was not a favorite day.Just wanted you to know. I am sorry.

The cheeseburgers were good but the mushrooms were overcooked.

This is my childhood spot. It hasn't changed. Hands down the best coney dogs you can get. If I could eat here everyday I would.

It has been a while since I have been here. I really need to go more. I was there today and the food was good. I was in and out pretty quick. The Coneys are great.

Love their food just wish their service was friendlier. Often times the people come on the speaker and sound like "yeah what do you want? So food wise I'd give them a 10 service wise a 2.

Great food ONLY complaint hot dogs weren't hot. But taste was excellent. Choc coke was so tasty. Prices are good.

Long....wait. They were not that busy. Overfried Tenderloin and Onion Rings. The Chocolate Malt was great.

Good Food, but their hours of operation aren't enough. they should extend their hours and provide better customer service to their guests. takes too long to get your food :(

If you're looking to grab some fast food with better flavor and taste, this is the place to come. Their food is prepared as you order though so you might have to wait a couple minutes but to me it's worth it. Love the coney sauce , if you've not had a coney recently, got to check this place out.

My family loves the Brown House. They have the best food. Our favorites are the fried veggies, corn nuggets, tenderloin and their milk shakes.Great Job Parker and Erica with keeping up this Auburn tradition!

When I’m feeling lonely, I get the large triple peanut butter shake and it makes me feel better, 10/10 would recommend. It taste like putting a straw in a Jif Jar.

Making a trip up north and this was one of our stops! If you want a quick lunch with Coney's, sandwiches, fries, ice cream, etc. then make your way here. Ordered a bunch of Coney Dogs to take back with us because my wife's family loves them and it's one of those, "when you have one, you want another" Got those and the Vanilla Come and oh man! That Vanilla coke is like drinking a heaven! It's spectacular! Had a chocolate shake too and it was good! The hot ham and cheese was great. Maybe some more ham next time! 😉 After a quick stop a couple hours later, we grabbed a couple of coney dogs and I decided to try one for the first time and that statement above was right! But...I didn't. I couldn't. I was already full. Tomorrow though. We will have them tomorrow. Great little place! Highly recommend!

Would love to rate higher. Great food and service. Would always grab something to eat with the family on the way to the pool for years. Everytime I think about the Brown house (poor location) they are closed. Between that and the price increase haven't went out of my way. I will recommend them if you can catch them open though!

A go to summer spot. Food is fairly priced, and served quickly. I don't think there's a bad item on the menu. I recommend ordering your food and taking it to Eckhart park for a picnic.

Great food, and the price is okay, but the hours are terrible. I get out of work earlier than most people I know, at 2PM and get the kids and head out for fun filled day at the park with some ice cream only to find out that they've already closed at 4pm monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Saturday they close at 3PM. The only day they stay open long enough is Wednesday when they close at 7PM. By the time we're ready to go its usually already 3:50.

I had the coney dog Wednesday special (3 for $5.50) and tater tots. Everything was delicious and hot! This was the first time trying the coney dogs and it was amazing. Wish I wouldn't have ate them so quickly so I could've shown everyone how good they are!

Love your coneys! I was brought up in Auburn years ago and thanks to my sister and brother-in-Le the Corry’s I was able to fly back to Minneapolis MN with a dozen frozen coneys in my suitcase where they were kept frozen in the plan’s cargo hold. I can personally attest to the fact that they’ve been flown the same way to Dallas, TX. Thanks for keeping the tradition going and best wishes for continuing success!Best, Mary Jane McKeon

Our first time coming here. Excellent coney dogs! I also enjoyed the cole slaw and a chocolate milk shake. My Son said the chicken strips were very good also. They are carry-out and drive-thru only, with no dining area. There is a large picnic table on the front patio. Great tasting food and very courteous service. I can't wait to visit again soon, as I want to try their other menu items!

Coneys are the best at this place!

Stopped in for an original chicken strip meal. Amazing nothing beats it hands down. Always something new to try. Deep fried green beans were great.!!

These older gals are great cooks and great service. Basket meals are really good. Love the coleslaw.

Staff is not friendly most of the time. Building is dilapidated. But food is "back in the day incredible". You won't be disappointed.
